Waltz
The waltz is a smooth, elegant, progressive ballroom dance characterised by its iconic rise and fall movement and 3/4 time signature, where couples turn in a series of steps around the dance floor in a counter-clockwise direction. Dancers maintain a closed position, holding each other to achieve balance and flow as they glide across the floor.
