Dance floor etiquette:
1. Don't bump into people.
2. Ballroom eg Foxtrot, Waltz, etc, and sequence dances move anticlock around outside of the room.
3. Overtaking couples give space for people they are overtaking.
4. Stationary dances eg Rock n Roll, Rumba ChaCha, etc, ALLWAYS stay in the middle of the room.
5. Both partners always watch behind each other for people or obstacles.
6. Ladies signal by squeezing the man's shoulder and resist movement that would cause a collision.
7. Men, lead away from a collision.
8. Move off the dance floor if stopped for a conversation.
9. Don't squeeze in front of couples on the dance floor.
